Dude, we gotta catch up again. I was at some Philly gigs and simply forgot to mention them to ya. Would love a drink at Union Transfer, Johnny Brenda's or somewhere.

Yes, we definitely have to at some point. All I know is that 2013 will be starting out well with Morrissey basically playing in my back yard.

Crazy that I forgot HSR. Sheet. Editing.

I'm trying to grasp how good 7 Bells could have been to even be in the running for top 3 TB. Have they improved that much??

Jesus & Mary Chain - The Belmont - Austin, TX
Riverboat Gamblers - The Jackalope - Austin, TX
Ben Miller Band - The Granada - Lawrence, KS
Cage The Elephant - At whatever they called Emo's - Austin Tx
The Cult and Against Me - Marquee Theater - Tempe, AZ
Psychedelic Furs - Wildhorse Pass - Chandler, AZ

Honorable Mentions:
311 - UNR - Reno, NV (not a fan but backstage all day was pretty damn cool)

Mumford and Sons - Red Rocks - Denver, CO (Chicks dig M & S. I don't get how a band could be so wildly popular and sell out two shows of 9,000+ at Red Rocks on the strength of one five year old record but they did. And the crowd loved them. I have to admit I had fun but I suppose my first time at the venue would make anyone sound awesome)

The Wedding Present - Red Eyed Fly - Austin, TX
Kaiser Chiefs - Cedar Street - Austin, TX

I would have to say two great bands who rarely, or never make it to the east coast....The Adolescents and Manic Hispanic.
