I picked up some tix to see the Bats at Maxwell's on June 3rd.

Very tempting to be able to see the Close Lobsters and the Wolfhounds-- what a blast from the past. And The School and The Orange Peels are also good bets.

http://www.brooklynvegan.com/archives/2 ... ms_pl.html

I attended most of Sunday June 2's concert at Littlefield (Brooklyn) in the good company of Sir Frau and non-NWOer David Y.

The top acts of the multi-artist line-up were The Secret History and French Films. Both of these acts played dates later in the week, including a joint appearance at Glasslands (Brooklyn). That's where the pictures in the above link were taken.
Unfortunately the sole French Films video in the link(filmed at Littlefield) was probably the weakest song in a very strong set.
But there's plenty of purty pictures (including Frau's dream girl Lisa Ronson of The Secret History)
