The Bongos at Maxwell's Closing Gig

Fantastic of course. Just great big bundles of positive energy. 11th St off Washington blocked off with a thousand people, DJs, food trucks, etc. Tickets for the inside shows were announced just 5 minutes before their onsale time of 2pm yesterday - a real privilege to have snagged the ones for The As and The Bongos. I think Schwenko caught The Individuals and Delicate Steve beforehand.

Grabbed the (last ever) Maxwell's setlist. Signed by Ric Barone and Rob Norris as well as club owner Todd Abramson:

One of a handful of thank-you placards passed out by the band:

And finally an absolutely rousing Numbers With Wings (try it in full 1080p at volume):

yes I was at the 6PM show.

Never even dreamed that I would get a chance to see The Individuals.

Their guitars were fantastic jagged, jangly, angular.

"Dancing With My Eighty Wives" and "Time Has Come Today" were clear standouts.

What's the scoop now on inlines 82? The src bit needs to be on a separate line?

Okay, thx 82. It also seems that Safari is generating a different code than either Chrome or IE (one which doesn't work at all!). Let's try this:

I could have been a roadie, filming from on-stage like that idiot we saw from Kissaway Trail, pumping his camera hand and banging it against the drums. I'd pay to see that footage.
