last night's concert was a 4 hour spectacle (in Times Square, NYC).
Gary and Eddie (with backup guitarists and synth player) put on a tight melodic, maybe 30 minute set
the sound was very good (as it always is in the Best Buy)

Gary (wearing a skirt) starts off the set by saying how happy to return to NYC ("the best goddamn city on earth, goddammit!!!" :D )

set list, off the top of my head:

Arizona Sky ("about NYC") https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gmsgw2p ... e=youtu.be
African and White
The Highest High
You Did Cut Me
Black ManRay
King In a Catholic Style

fellow NWO personnel in attendance included Ebbhead and The Golden...errr, Len

did I mention the entire concert was 4 hours long!! (with Katrina, Midge Ure, Howard Jones and Tom Bailey [Thompson Twins])
Retro Futura 2014 tour- highly recommended

Still bummed I missed you, Schwenko. I only get into NYC once or twice a year, we're in the same building for five hours, and... swinnnng and a misssss!

Surly, enjoy Friday. They finally got an off-day Thurs., so everyone'll be fresh. This the Greek show? Whole convoy been buzzing about it for a week.

I saw four shows - Manhat, Philly, Long Island and hometown Toronto after skipping shows four and five. Because I'm a Thompson Twins apologist from way back. Bailey has exceeded expectations, as has Katrina. Ure's been insanely good.

NWO, don't read this if you hate Thompson Twins. But if you're going to one of these shows, read on: http://thegoldenyear.wordpress.com/2014 ... a-2014usa/

Whole show was great but Tom Bailey blew everyone else away. He is a born performer and a natural frontman. Amazing!!!

I snagged an autographed copy of Rare & Remixed. Sounds great!
