OK, here's my 5th attempt at replying to this (thanks to Mike P. for fixing the problem!!!!!!!)

If any of you go make sure you check out The Soviettes. They are a very good punk/pop band, and are also very good friends of mine. One of the singer/guitarists in the Soviettes played bass in an old band of mine and she rocks. Don't be scared by the fact that they are on FAT, they sound nothing like a FAT band.

And I will be purchasing my ticket this weekend, so I don't get stuck with another "Sold Out" sign!

Yeah, they're actually really good. I saw them at a bar here a few months ago. And coupled with The Epoxies (everyone check out Roxy Epoxy's clothes - my friend is making them for her now!) as well as Against Me! (their first cd had some damn good acoustic punk), it sounds like a damn good tour.

Possible GREAT news, possible CRAP news...

The Epoxies are playing at First AAvenue on the same night I tape the tv show I co-produce in the 7th Street Entry (a side room to First Ave). The possible GREAT news is that I'm gonna try to get them on the show. the possible CRAP news is that I may miss the show (depending on the taping schedule that night) when there is only a concrete wall seperating us!
