Oh frack, they're not playing Boston. Anyway, I'd love to hear anyone's review of their show. I saw them in the mid-90s and they blew me away.

I LOVE Front 242!! They are my 4th favorite band. Too bad they are not comming to Boston. I did see them here two years ago and the place was packed.

I went to the Seattle show on Friday night, my first time seeing Front 242 live. I was discouraged that the club seemed so small, but once the show kicked in, I couldnt have cared less ;) for such a small venue and stage, they completely immersed us in a great set of electronic intensity! They went a couple of tracks at a time, back and forth.. from old, sparse classics like Quite Unusual or Lovely Day, up to the intense Religion or the amazing closer Punish Your Machine. HIGHLY recommended!!!

great to see stuff like quite unusual back in the set! from what I rad on a another forum, the songs are supposed to be arranged in the old style again? didn't enjoy all that re-boot stuff too much, so it would be a welcome...

oh, I think most of the classic songs sounded pretty true to form... but it seems that by their live recordings and this show, they like to mix things up to keep songs sounding new and fresh. I was really looking forward to hearing "Body To Body" as it was done on the ReBoot live album (very uptempo and aggressive) but they scaled it back down to a lower, minimal beat.
No complaints, the show was teriffic :)

Very cool. My Montreal friends and I had decided against this thinking it might possibly be a lot of intense repitition. I like 242 in small doses. How was the set? Varied? Kept your interest? Lots of classics?
