Well folks, NG has gotten it's act together and we have finally released the first in a series of Live recordings we are making available. First up is "Nervous Gender Live at the Hong Kong Cafe 1979". This recording is noteable because, with the exception of some rehearsal tapes, it is the only documentation of Phranc's participation in Nervous Gender. The cd-r has 13 songs (including Phranc singing Jesus Clone, aka Confession) and is just shy of an hour.
The next project is a dvd-r of NG at the Whiskey a- Go-Go in 1980. It was filmed 3 days after the "Live at Target" sessions and features the same line-up, including Sven and Paul Roseller (the Screamers). We have just confirmed that this video will world premier on Dec 16, in San Francisco along with a screening of Throbbing Gristle live at the Astoria 2005. It is part of the Bizarre Films Festival put on by Mobilization / Re-search. More details when the event is officially announced.
