My eBay sale - lots of 80's & New Wave!

Postby Fred Taghon » Sat Sep 08, 2007 1:06 pm

Hey folks, just finished posting 436 items up on eBay. Auctions will begin to end (if that makes any sense) this coming Thursday August 13th.

Check out what's for sale at:

http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQsassZretrogroovearchive

10 items include studio electronics like an Alesis MMT-8 Sequencer, Roland TR-505 drum machine, Yamaha RX17 drum machine, ART signal processor, Yamaha TX81Z sound modules and a Sony DAT tape deck complete with 10 tapes!

The rest are all CD's. Over 50 are compilations, mostly of 80's stuff. Some are really cool box sets of rare 12" remixes. Even have the Hot Tracks Anniversary set up for sale. One of the rarest compilations is the "Hit It" Warner Brothers Promo CD from 1987 which features 2 Joseph Watt remixes of Kraftwerk's "Sex Object" that are available NOWHERE ELSE! (Look for THAT item listed under Kraftwerk!)

Look for lots of great rare CD's and/or CD-singles from artists like:

Depeche Mode
Shakespear's Sister
Camouflage
Bananarama
Baltimora
T42
Xymox
Erasure
New Order
Men Without Hats
Thompson Twins
Thomas Dolby
A Flock Of Seagulls
OMD
A-Ha
When In Rome
Pet Shop Boys
Kim Wilde
Heaven 17
The Human League
Dead Or Alive
Company B
Eurythmics
Madonna
Prince

Just a friendly reminder that the first wave of my eBay sales are in their final hours. They end tonight (Thursday Sept 13th) between 9:45pm and 3:00am EST (Michigan time zone). This includes 100 cd's beginning with "49ers" through "Depeche Mode" (yeah, everything is posted alphabetically by last name or first letter of band name).

Ending auctions will then resume Friday afternoon EST, beginning with MORE Depeche Mode (lol hmmmm think they just MIGHT be my favorite band?) and finishing Friday evening (or VERY early Saturday morning to be technical) with Queen.

Resuming Saturday around noon EST with some great rare Prince CD-Singles and wrapping up the CD auctions around 10pm EST with the last of my 50+ Various Artists compilations!

But wait! That's not all! [8D]

Still up for auction, through Sunday evening, are some electronic devices like a couple Yamaha TX81Z FM Tone Generators (much used by many mid-late 80's bands), an ART ProVerb200 digital reverb/effects processor, a Korg DF1 MIDI Data Filer, 2 Midiman Macman Macintosh 1x3 MIDI interfaces, a nonfunctioning Alesis MMT-8 sequencer and a Umax scanner!!

Thanks for allowing me to advertise and interrupt your day - especially thanks to all who have taken time to look my stuff over and/or place some bids - most appreciated. Now back to your regular programming....
