A bunch of VISAGE 12" singles

Postby tikibars » Mon Jan 14, 2008 5:57 am

Six 12" singles and one 7" single from Visage.

Visage were the ultimate New Romantic supergroup.

Steve Strange was a club kid and follower of Bowie and Brian Ferry. He gathered together a stellar lineup of players from some great bands of the era and made a few great records - and a few lame ones.

Here are some of the best 12" singles from the 'great' period!

The players here are like a who's who of Post Punk, New Wave and New Romantic. Members of Magazine (Howard Devoto's post-Buzzcocks band), Rich Kids (the band with ex-Sex Pistol Glen Matlock, drummer Rusty Egan, and future Ultravox frontman Midge Ure), and the best guitarist of the postpunk era: John McGeoch (Siouxsie and the Banshees, PIL, Magazine, many others) back Mr. Strange here.

Most of these tracks are NOT on CD anywhere in the world!

Here's the loot...

Love Glove 12"

Damned Don't Cry 12" (with Helmut Newton photo!)

Night Train 12"

Mind of A Toy 12"

Visage 12" (the song 'Visage', that is!)

Visage EP (five tracks)

Tar 7", with a B-side of Frequency 7 that is radically different from every other version of Frequency 7 on any other single, EP, 12", LP or CD! ONLY on this single can you get this rare version of this song.

Many of these tracks are not available on CD anywhere in the world.

Overall, records are in very good condition. Some show slight wear, but are definitely in very playable condition.

$35 takes it all.
Shipping will be about $7 in the US and about $20 to Europe.
