New Romantic/New Wave vinyl collection

Postby skygeex » Tue Jun 03, 2008 3:07 pm

I'm a few weeks away from starting the process of finding a good home for my entire collection of VG to NM New Romantic and New Wave vinyl. I have to go through all four moving boxes of them and rip what I haven't ripped yet...then it'll all be ready to go.

I'm not at all interested in selling this collection off disc by disc. What a pain that would be. I'd much rather find someone who would be able to pay a fair price for the entire lot of a few hundred LPs, EPs, 12-inchers, and 45s. This collection is pretty homogenoeus in the genres of wave and post-punk, specifically New Romance acts..and in that area, it's nearly complete. Pretty much got it all from Ultravox, Visage, Classix Nouveaux, Landscape, Duran Duran, Spandau Ballet, A Flock of Seagulls, The Human League, OMD, etc.

So, who do you think I should offer it to? Should I put the lot on EBay? Is that where top dollar will be? How about CraigsList? How about this discussion board?! All I know is that it has to go, and that I want it to go to someone who won't just put it all up for sale again. I want it to be fully enjoyed by the next owner.

I'd def. be interested...but, I'd need a detailed list of what you have and what your absolute best offer to take would be?
