MODERN ART - " CIRCUIT LIGHTS " (1982-1986) DOMESTICA. REF.DOM01L

Domestica is proud to announce the release of its first discography reference, MODERN ART – CIRCUIT LIGHTS (1982 – 1986), one of the most unknown yet brilliant bands from the London underground scene, led by Gary Ramon. This LP compiles their best electronic tracks, chosen from a wide repertoire of more than 15 tapes released during the 80s.

The songs that Gary Ramon edited during the Modern Art era (from approximately 1982 to 1989) was basically from cassettes; most of his music didn't take off outside of the English 'Underground' scene in the 80's, probably due to the fact he only had limited copies of his albums, in some cases less that 50.

Inspite of the circumstances his songs are still fondly remembered by many lovers of independent music and after many years others have also discovered his surprisingly fascinating work, (partly) thanks to the internet. Nowadays it's much more difficult to enjoy his music in it's original format and even more so to enjoy his completed work. For all these reasons we have decided to produce this selection which gathers up and represents part of the original work during the most experimental era of Gary Ramon's music career. We constantly wonder why this compilation has not been thought of before now.

We would like to take this opportunity to pay eternal thanks to Gary for all his help, patience and kindness. Without him this project would not have been possible.

LP presented in a heavy weight matte die-cut jacket (350 grs), b/w heavy weight matte paper bag (250 grs), 180 grs vinyl and professional mastering.
320 copies, not to be missed.
