This is unique because CM Punk is addressing the stale product that WWE has put out since the Attitude era ended and they went more "family friendly". While this is a work/shoot, it does indicate that the company knows they've been in the doldrums for years and are looking to shake things up.
I doubt CM Punk was given the same leeway as Roddy Piper used to get though.

This is unique because CM Punk is addressing the stale product that WWE has put out since the Attitude era ended and they went more "family friendly". While this is a work/shoot, it does indicate that the company knows they've been in the doldrums for years and are looking to shake things up.
