Never knew his real name was John Kennedy Oswald. That's kind of awesome.

This kind of sucks. I know nobody here has any respect for any hair metal band, but I always felt like Warrant were one of the best. The guitar parts on "Down Boys" and "Uncle Tom's Cabin" are pretty good. "Heaven" was just the crap they did to sell records.

Not true. I respect the fuck out of Skid Row! I also have a soft spot for a lot of other hair metal bands, Warrant included. I also think that if you can't occasionally crank the Hell out of a song like Cherry Pie and enjoy it immensely, you're a complete twat who takes himself far too seriously.

OK but I'm not yet convinced this is a safe place to come out of the closet and admit my affinity for White Lion.

Is White Lion really any less respected than Warrant? I put them both a notch above Poison and Briny Fox but way below L.A. Guns and Skid Row. I think we need a hair metal subforum!

is it wrong that when I saw the picture of Jani Lane and the headline "Cherry Pie singer dies" I said "What? Brett Michaels is dead?!?!? no way!" ?
