My new favorite video=my new favorite pop star

I didn't know K-Pop existed. It stands to reason that it does, because I've heard of J-Pop so why not K-Pop? All I know is that for some inexplicable reason this video found it's way into my YouTube search for the Queen video I posted earlier today. I've been mesmerized ever since. Meet Hyuna and her bonkers song "Bubble Pop". I have no idea what the song's about and I don't care:

According to the comments under the video, apparently Hyuna is also a member of a girl group called 14 Minutes and some devotees of that group are furious that Hyuna is the breakout star. They claim she's not the best singer and she only got the opportunity because she's hot. Yeah...no shit, Sherlock.
Hyuna has also performed this song multiple times on seemingly every TV show in South Korea. Sometimes she sings along to the track, sometimes she just mimes to it. Doesn't matter to me. Each performance is identical to the last one only the outfits change. That's reason enough for me to recommend you check out every single one of them. Enjoy:

<p align="justify">I like K-Pop, but it's more along the lines of Electronic Indie Pop. Most of the bands are either on the Pastel label or Fluxus.

Here's a list of some of the best in the scene:

- Clazziquai Project: includes DJ Clazzi and Alex.
- Alex (solo): has already had two albums out, with the most recent from this year.
- Humming Urban Stereo: it's mainly one guy - Jereen - who features several other artists in different albums.
- Loveholic, Loveholics (with a different lead singer), and Ji-Sun (the former/original lead singer as a solo): great Pop Rock.
- Tearliner: he sounds a bit like a combination between Sigur Ros and The Durutti Column.</align>

Thanks for the tip. I have to confess my interest in Hyuna has more to do with her being all kinds of gorgeous but the damn song is catchy as hell.

EDIT: And here's another of the (many) performances. I enjoy the comment left by someone complaining that she stopped singing around the 2:00 mark. Really??? THAT'S what you notice????

Wow, Frau's sex change went surprisingly well, and he's staying true to his pop influences.

And some say men are transparent, shallow and are led around by their penises. Hmmmmph!

Remember, looks eventually fade but crappy music is forever.
