"Is The Simpsons Duff beer is named after Duff McKagen of Guns'nRoses?"

Ahem..."Is the..is"? I'm seeing more of these grammar blunders in news stories than ever before these days. That one was from The Los Angeles Times. Countless stories on Yahoo! News, for example, read like they were written by a 3 year old. Either nobody gives a shit anymore or they figure the American public can barely read anyway so why bother to check for mistakes.

I like it when people use the term "irregardless" to try and sound sophisticated. They unknowingly sound irretarded!
