80's Candy !

Postby KYYX4ever » Mon Sep 13, 2004 11:11 am

What candy do you guys remember from the 80's ? Is it still around ?

I remember:

Pop Rocks ( see other thread)
Necco Wafers....remember these pastel sugar wafers with the un-identifiable flavors in the clear wax paper wrapper ? They're still around !
Lik-Em-Aid....3 envelope/packs of COLORED SUGAR with a hard sugar white dipping stick....that stick had the oddest flavor, didn't it ?
Pixie Sticks....yuuummm, more sugar
Bubbalicious & Hubba Bubba.....mmmmmm, sugar you can chew....

Astro pops, I used to love those! I wonder if they're still around.

I googled this page of 80s candy, give it a look: http://www.hometownfavorites.com/shop/candy_cat.asp?c=4

PB MAXX!

This was the best damn candy bar in the world. A giant cookie with a huge dollop or REAL (not of the Reese's variation) peanut butter and coated in milk chocolate! I have been sullen and withdrawn ever since PB MAXX was discontinued. There was

I remember the Whatchamacallit bar-that was really the name. I loved those, and I don't know whether they are still being made. In the 80s, I also remember the local candy shop selling a lot of British candy and my friends and I would buy it because it
