Man, I loved that show. That was so my life in Junior High. I still can't beleive it was pulled. Great characters and story lines. Any other fans out there?

Totally. Think that and the also short-lived My So Called Life were the best tv shows about high school years ever. And I'm bummed that both were canceled too soon.

Freaks & Geeks was an awesome show! I knew all those characters in real life! It's a shame it got canned.

The first TV show I got really into in 15 years. I keep looking for a cheap price on the box set, but it looks like I'm going to have to drop the $50 for it.

That show was PERFECT. The actors were great. And the music references were pretty great as well.

I recall XTC's 'No language in our lungs' in one episode.

I recall when the guy in the leather jacket decides to try punk (I forget the character's n

No, Degrassi Jr. High was in a league of its own. Freaks & Geeks was a dramedy about ... umm ... freaks and geeks in a suburban high school. Degrassi was way more soap opera.

God, I loved that show. It was incredibly well-acted. That guy that played Bill Haverchuk was just unbelievable. I don't usually care about TV shows that much but it still depresses me that this one went off the air so soon.

Cool show !! It was quite an accurate portrayal of HS life, generally. The older sister, Linda Cardinelli, who always slunk around in her green army jacket, now plays nurse Taggert on "ER". Everytime I see her, I think of Freaks-n-Geeks.

I always wanted to check that show out. I even received an email from one of the kid actors on that show around the time it was on the air -- a nice enough if not slightly promotional email. I felt bad that I couldn't do more to help promote it, but it wa

I splurged and bought the whole DVD set as to replace my incomplete VHS episode set. It's truly one of my favorites, since I understand the jokes.

Heck I can even spot the anachronisms in it(notably when the Atari 2600 was purchased)

Did anyone watch the comedy Undeclared, made by the same people? Another fantastic show cancelled way too soon.

Never saw Freaks and Geeks or My so called life...I was living in Japan and missed them. But does anyone else remember Square Pegs?? With Sarah Jessica Parker? Now that didn't last long but it was a great show. I was 15 and totally identified with it.
