When I was in France, I used to play chess quite a lot, French Riviera Championship, inter-clubs and national competitions. In Manila, I just collect CD's and French wine, I have about 200 bottles in my small cellar and I make it a point to have wine from each wine producing region. I also grow herbs in my garden that I use in my cooking, another hobby of mine. I collect cooking books and I like to check out new restaurants so that when I feel lazy to cook, I always know where to go. Aside from that, I made a CD to teach French as second language and I'm writing on & off a romantic novel à la Marcel Proust.[:D]

Wow, great hobbies fanciz. You must be very good at chess. Is the novel in French or English? If it's in English, let us know when it's pubished so we can read it.

Since I do translation work as a sideline, I have two versions which are not exactly identical due to the language barrier. It's basically the story of a guy in quest of the absolute love. Part of the novel is composed of love letters, but I have to be in the mood so that's why it's on and off.eheheh
