<br>Marv, those look great! I'd love to see them in color so I can make out what some of those images are. What a unique idea. That's amazing that you sold a chest for such an amount. [:)]

Marv, those are amazing! I love the dresser with the curved front and the dresser in picture two, oh, and the box in the second to last picture. You've taken decoupage to a whole new level with your keen eye for modern/retro graphics. Do you have these all in your house or have you sold or given them away?

I'm very close to being finished with my next handbag design that I will market on Ebay soon. I'm working out the final kinks in the prototype. I'll post a picture.

I just love to see how people's personalities manifest themselves creatively in their hobbies and crafts.

The curved front dresser is in my office and I use it to house all my portfolios and related business stuff. The dresser in pic #2 is the one that sold for $1,000. And the next to last box you speak of is a jewelry box I gave to a girl friend as a house warming gift.

The top photo is a TV stand I gave to my brother, the third piece is a book case I gave to a neighbor, the fifth piece is a little drawer thingy I use to put my foreign stamps in that I collect, and the last piece is in my kids' playroom for book organization.

Hey thanx for the compliments Manekineko! And definitely let us know when your stuff is on eBay!

Dan, your Gravitar site is really cool. I can't wait to see if Gravitar is on my MAME machine.[8D]

I just finished sewing the prototype handbag that I plan to make and sell on Ebay. I designed it myself. It is made of wool tweeds, silk, velvet, some asian brocades, and leather (including the bottom for durability). It also has a silk taffeta lining with a zip pocket trimmed with a tassel. Look closely and you can see the label that says "Flirtations" sewn into the lining, just under the pocket zipper. The handles are black wood. This prototype bag got a little rumpled around the topline from being tweaked so much. The actual bags that I put up for sale will be much neater in their finished appearance. Because I make the bags one by one by myself, I will be selling a very limited number of them during this holiday season.

I took these photos quickly just to post them here. I will obviously take better pictures (and write more creative ad copy) when I market them on Ebay. And I will get someone with better looking hands to be my hand model [:)] .

Sorry for posting so many pictures of a freaking handbag, LOL.

Awesome job, Manekineko! I am a shoe-makeup-purse whore (I have a whole closet devoted to just shoes and purses), and your purses are something I'd be all over. Very nice work--you're very talented!

Oh my gawd, that handbag is frickin' gorgeous.(like you[:)]). I love the patterns and colors' interplay. And that lining! OMG!

At 37 yrs. of age, I am just starting to get into purses. I used to just carry my ID and cash in my pocket, for many years in fact. Lately I've been collecting a few purses and I can see this veering toward something addicting.....having already discovered shoe addiction!
