The Rocky Horror Picture Show

Postby DevoManiac101 » Mon Nov 01, 2004 9:13 pm

Hello Everyone,

Does anyone here "worship" haha, or at least enjoy watching The Rocky Horror Picture Show, It has to be in my top 3 favorite movies of all time, many great memories watching that movie back in 1976-1980. Something I can watch almost everyday. A cult classic!! I own lots of stuff including Trading Cards, Action Figures, Costumes, Props *from the live shows*, Even the original script (Well A copy of course). Richard O'Brien is an amazing songwriter as well as a terrific actor. I like all of his work and even bought his CD that came out in 1999. Very good, if you haven't heard go out and find. I can go on and on about TRHPS but I will let you all discuss your stories with me and what you all think of the movie,, and than I will share with you some more stories I have!

Thanks, Justin/DevoManiac101

I remember going to the Midnight showing of TRHPS at the Mid-Island Plaza Theater in Hicksville around 1981~82. What a blast! Half the fun was going there with a buzz on, bringing T.P., Rice, Toast etc..and watching the live cast of characters parading up

Same answer as kimiiii except that I never owned the LP. My memories of it are fairly hazy. I always saw it at midnight movie through a fog of sleep deprivation partially mitigated by caffeine. I threw rice and toast and shouted, "No, not meatloaf again

Saw the midnight Manhattan show (the only place to go!) in the early 80's for my birthday. [:D]

Used to check it out religiously for about a 4 month span around 79. Then got tired of it.
