A message of Thanks

Postby devildog » Wed Nov 24, 2004 12:14 pm

Since Thanksgiving is upon us, I thought I would reflect a bit and offer a "thanks" to:

Grunch-for being my best friend and fellow "rogue" in our musical pursuits.

Mike P.-Of course, for having this website where I have learned so much more about 80s music and made some great friendships as well.

jfiber-for starting Superfecta/Ideal Copy and his committment to see 80s music last for eternity!

Skinnytie, newwavefan, Randy, Bowiestation-Thanks for all the wonderful cd-r trades and discussions. You guys are great!

Ekahob-for your wonderful blog site and dedication to keeping the more obscure new wave bands alive.

And, last but not least, the rest of the NWO regulars (you know who you are [;)]) who always manage to bring spirited topics and humor to this website! [8D]

May everyone have a happy Thanksgiving![8D]

Hear Hear! I'm so glad to have found this site. I'm thankful to everyone who shares their knowledge and memories of this music because as long as we're here it'll never die. I enjoy the name that tune quizzes, the sometimes heated off topic discussions, t

A young man named Andy received a parrot as a gift.
The parrot had a bad attitude and an even worse vocabulary. Every word out of the bird's mouth was rude, obnoxious and laced with profanity. Andy tried and tried to change the bird's attitude by consis

Yes, Thanks to everybody for sharing music, knowledge and conversation on the board this past year.

I'd also like to thank Grunch for having a massive music collection, a massive hard drive and a fast connection! You've saved me a lot of time that w

I was just thinking of of starting a similar post!

As I listen to all the AWESOME CDs from our NW CD trade a while back, I was struck by all this swell New Wave I've never heard before. I thought I had an obscure NW catalog--you can't imagine ho

Yeah, I'd like to thank everyone for all of the great help they've been in getting me into some amazing obscure music! I'm sure that I'm one of the youngest on the board and no one has ever held that against me in any way. I really appreciate it; people

Aw-schucks, sincerity has always been a tough one for me. Like Natephish, I'm somewhat new around here, and I'm probably one of the younger members. So I'll ride on his coattails a bit I think. And thanks to everyone for simply ignoring my posts in lieu o

Thanks to the CDR exchangers.
