I like most people i know , a'm a catholic-christian. and in the christian faith the bible teaches that there is only one god, "jesus christ". the bible goes on to say, that we should belive in him and noone else including engraved or false idols.

Most of the people who lost theire lives were either budaists or non-christian. i guess my question is , if they did not belive in jesuse christ, did they all go to hell?? i find that kind of hard to belive. i'm not questoning my faith or the faith of others, but this is realy confusing me.

If this would had happend about 500 to 1000 years ago , people would have had thought that it was an act of god. they would have said that god himself did this because the people were non-belivers.

I realy could use some opinions, feedback , advise and so on. please help. i realy can't get this out of my mind. but in the end we all have to realy wonder, where do we go when we die ?
