The bitch moved in to town late last night and didn't high tail it out of here until about 10am. Parts of Hillsdale, NJ are underwater. Kids are in rowboats drifting down the center of town. We won't have power in my town nearby until at least next Sunday (I'm at work right now).

With a week of darkness and no TV ahead of me, I plan to spend the entire time masturbating as my source of entertainment....WHAT?...too much information? [:D]

Might be out of power a week. Thousands of feet of downed lines. Russian Roulette with the downed trees...couple of homes hit that I saw.

Make sure you go on Facebook to complain about overhyped coverage instead of just shutting the fuck up and not watching TV.

Still alive and well here, thanks! I'm surrounded by the devastation but my neighborhood escaped the worst of it and the extent of the damage to my place is pretty much an inch of water covering the right side of my basement.

Firefighters from British Columbia play street hockey in Times Square at the height of the storm...just like a typical winter day in Vancouver. What's the big deal?

No electricity at home for 2 days thanks to our inept power company (though we had it at the office, so I ended up hanging out there). Other than that, no damage either. I'm not even sure how the power got knocked out when the storm was practically a trickle by the time it found its way over here. There were cars driving past my house during the worst of it. That's how seriously people took it.

Lost power for 10 hours but other parts of town still without. Got lucky with the power but we did have a 80 foot pine tree come down in the backyard. Anyone have a chainsaw I could borrow ? [B)]
