Dark Shadows movie

As a huge fan of the cheesy old show...not looking forward to this remake as it almost appears to be a comedy from the trailers.
What a waste......
it almost appears to be a comedy
That's what they said about "The Green Hornet"...

But seriously, I heard on a radio program about the rabid contingent of "Dark Shadows" fans worldwide. Like "Trekkies", they hold conventions and can quote dialogue line for line.

I knew people who were into the show when it was on back in the day. Never knew it would reverberate to reach even new generations.

Look, the tv show was "classicly bad" but thats what made it so good. Movie looks fun and good. Who gives a shit if it ain't like the tv show. Hell, most of the 18-35 year olds who are gonna see it won't have a clue about the tv show from 40 years ago.

<p align="justify">I grew up watching this on the Sci-Fi Channel back in the 90s, so I'm very aware of Dark Shadows and this movie doesn't reflect that show at all. They only share the title and that's pretty much it.

I love Tim Burton's style, but this one goes into the pile that includes Planet Of The Apes and Charlie And The Chocolate Factory - weird junk, but not in a good way or something that I'd wanna watch over and over as with some of his other movies

Isn't it time we had a no holds barred, full on rip your throat out and shit down your neck, nasty bastard of a Vampire movie? Comedies and Romance's in the Vampire Genre bore the fuckery out of me. Make them stop.

I dont give a shit about the 18 to 35 year olds cause I aint one of them. Agree with Almonds--any of Burtons remakes really blow ass.
