Arrivederci Mr Rooney! [:D]

Pirlo's PK was a thing of beauty. England was lifeless the majority of the game in what I thought was a terrible match with the worst finishing ever from both sides. Rooney was awful. England couldn't have possibly turned the ball over any more than they did.

Ashley Young was clearly on the take. No other way he could turn over every pass and then miss the spot kick as well. I still wanted England to win just so I wouldn't have to watch a bunch of greasy-haired divers.

Portugal/Spain - 1st half - yawn. Good thing the Smirnoff is within reach.

Usually the case with Spain. Luckily they didn't score an early goal because they would have sucked the life out of the game.

I had both Germany and Italy in a Euro Pool for a decent amount of $. Does Italy have a chance or should I hedge with a bet on Spain? I know nothing about this sport and I'm only in the thing because I keep winning their March Madness and football pools and I'd feel guilty saying no.

Italy definitely has a chance, I thought Portugal outplayed Spain and was surprised with the ease that Italy won with today. I see it as a toss up (and a potential dive fest). Good luck!

If you're looking for a sure bet motors, bet heavily on me drinking lots of Smirnoff on Sunday.

Dive fest...no shit. You forgot to add an overabundance of hand gestures and the obligatory imploring to an imaginary higher power.

let the sherry flow freely for the conquistadors and for Lara Alvarez ! [:D]
but it was sad to see Pirlo's teary-eyed look after the final...

I missed the opening stuff before the game, did they play Oceana - Endless Summer UEFA 2012 song? Helluva booty-shaking song with as few words as possible
