Which do you prefer and why ? I have nothing against Apple..the few that I have been around operated flawlessly compared to pc's.I own a pc and am too accustom to Windows.Not in the mood to literally start all over again but man I've been tempted.Any opinions ?

Switched to Appple over two years ago and I would never go back to Windows. Apple makes it extremely easy to edit video and burn DVDs which is something I always wanted to do. I bought a PowerBook and love it.

Why does everyone keep perpetuating this myth?
Macs crash, Macs get viruses, Macs can be hacked, and there is loads of spyware that works just fine on a Mac.

I got an Apple II+ in 1982 and have used Macs ever since they came out. Never had a crash or virus. Has anyone ever voluntarily switched from Mac to PC? Doubt it. Once you go Mac you'll never go back. I liken it to VHS or Beta. Beta is superior but

Well this graphic designer has been using Macs since 1989 and what few crashes I've ever had I've been able to fix up myself. And since OS X (a UNIX based OS), crashes are practically non-existent. Pay for tech support? Drop off my computer somewhere? Get

All my PC usng friends including the techier ones who work in IT drool over Macs. They love having to service Macs because they're no brainers - hassle free, a joy. What does that tell you?

I don't have a preference simply because I only use computers for the most basic applications: Email, internet, downloading music, burning CDs, listening to CDs, and Word Processing. So I'm kind of easy that way.
