just a little spooky

Postby enzfan » Sun Mar 27, 2005 11:28 am

i was sitting at the computer messing with my fantasy baseball and listening to the vh-1 all request hour playing on the tv in the living room. towards the end of the show the host was reading a letter requesting joe boxer's "just got lucky" and said before playing the video if you have a request send it and we might play it. so about halfway through just got lucky i started thinking about paul hester the drummer with split enz and crowded house who just committed suicide yesterday. i thought it would be nice to see crowded house and their video "something so strong" and i'll be damned if it wasn't the next and last video they played tonight my wife and friends have told me i have an uncanny ability to blurt out what the next song on the radio will be or something similar to that. it's nothing i can sit and think about and have it happen just every once in a while off the top of my head it occurs. just thought it was a little wierd with his death just yesterday.

I'm going to suggest a rethink on this. I used to wonder the same when this happened lots of times not just with music but also street lights! Quite a few times, a street light has seemingly burnt out just as I get to it. After the 5th time or so, I star

When I read enzfan's first post, I immediately started composing a reply in my mind, only to find a few moments later that blir already wrote it, exactly as I had envisioned! Very spooky.

I love it when this kind of thing happens. is it just a coincidence ("co-incidents"?) or is something more esoteric ? Hmm?
