The Office

Has anyone else seen this show on the BBC channel. My friend just gave me the first 2 seasons and the Christmas special on dvd. I havent laughed so hard since Sienfeld. And whoever the writers are have an obvious love of 80's music. In almost every episode there is at least one 80's song and they are always talking about it too. There was an argument between two characters on how stupid one was because he cofuses Howard Jones with Nik Kershaw. Funny stuff. If anyone wants to check it out i can burn copies of it.

Ben, I'd love a copy. I can only offer music in return (I don't have a dvd burner).

The Office is one of the all-time great shows. BBC America used to help out viewers by displaying the meanings of some of the words in the show that Americans would not know (i.e., bender=homoseual). The show is definately as good as Seinfeld.

I'm a huge Office fan. I have both seasons plus the Special on DVD. I have a friend who works at BBC America and gets me all sorts of stuff on DVD for free. I even went to an Office DVD release party once. The show is brilliant - funny as hell. My sis-in-

Don't forget that Ricky Gervais was in the New Wave band Seona Dancing with the all-time fave, "More to Lose."
