POLYSICS from Japan.

Discussions about the new generations of bands influenced by '80s New Wave and Postpunk

POLYSICS from Japan.

I love this band! Only recently was I made aware of them. I'll be seeing them on March 4th in SF. Very Devo influenced music and presentation but with that unique Japanese flavor that I love. Check them out here....

What a coincidence! I was going to follow up my "My Sharona" by Towa Tei with a Polysics cover of the same earlier today but the "you sendit" server was temporarily down but hey I guess it's a oportunity to now. Polysics are very much Devo inspired but with equal doses of Plastics and the angst of old fashioned punk.

That's the one! Cafe Du Nord. It's going to be awesome! I wonder if they have any problems with video cameras at the shows.....

POLYSICS were incredible last night!! If you were there, you know the deal. Best show I've seen in a long time. Total energy! They have a new CD out too. Buy it! It's called Now Is The Time.
