Cass McCombs - is he the new "happy" Morrissey?

I watched the video for the song "Sacred Heart" and swear to god on this song at least, he sounds like a happy version of Morrissey.

That's what I like about this board- NEW discoveries! (for me at least). McCombs sounds great and "Sacred Heart" is really catchy.
