Gomez Tour In Progress

Hey gang, anyone checking out these guys out? I caught just a bit of their act at SXSW. I was digging their take on the modern alt-blues-rock kinda thang. Definitely different than the usual Strokes/Franz/Interpol cloth. Well worth seeing IMHO, especially at the relatively cheap prices they usually command. I happen to be in Burlington tomorrow and hope to report if their Bowery shows will be worth it for you New Yawkahs...

OM-Fuckin'-G!!! These guys were gooooood! Wow! You have not heard roots rock so good since Led Zeppelin met Radiohead. These guys displayed some fuckin' soulful soulful soulul SOULFUL shit!!! Man, I had az good a time as I've had in several years at a concert...I mean, I've seen more favored acts but these guys had such good musicians' chops, it was thoroughly enjoyable to witness. Okay, maybe it's the 8th or 9th Bourbon talking but still, go see them if you get a chance!

Must...hyrdrogenate...and...sleep...now....argh......

Glad you had a good time. Higher Ground's a sweet place to see a show. I really wish I could have made it. [:(] Especially since my casino trip was rather unprofitable. [:(]

Crap! I was going to drag wifey down to NYC this weekend to catch them again...but they're sold out three straight nights at the Bowery. I know some of my drunken spew sounded like hyperbole , but they really are quite entertaining. If you're in Philly or somewhere where they're not sold out, I highly highly highly recommend them.
