Discussions about the new generations of bands influenced by '80s New Wave and Postpunk

Dubstar ARE at work

Postby thegoldenyear » Wed Jan 12, 2011 5:33 am

Sarah Blackwood tweeted back-and-forth between a few of us obsessives about heading into the studio yesterday (January 11) for vocals:

"First studio session of the year! Good to be back."

Meanwhile, Steve Hillier answered a question about song titles a few days earlier (January 9):

"It's all in hand. we're sorting out titles right now but we're in that tasteless /unusable but funny stage we always go through."

Over on Client's website (http://www.client-online.eu/), a press release dated December 19 states: "Sarah Blackwood of electro-band Client has today confirmed that she is leaving the band so she can spend time focusing on other projects. Kate Holmes is likely to continue with the bands activities after taking a short break."

Crossing fingers Steve, Sarah and Chris Wilkie are enjoying the process more than they did in '08, when +/- 20 songs were scrapped amid disharmony. They were a fine band in their day and they deserve another kick at it.
