+1 kind of like 1987 Cure with the swirling keyboards and jangly guitar

BTW - she takes the subway ( L line) (Bedford Avenue) from Williamsburg to Morgan Avenue (Bushwick), Brooklyn, i.e. hipster central

Honestly, I have to say that there's few people in music I despise more than this listless, talentless, unengaging waste of space they have on keyboards. I had hopes for this band, but their live "presence" is so utterly pathetic, I can't possibly listen one more note by them anymore.

IMHO of course!

Some New Wave influenced Bands that are cool or have good songs:
Two Door Cinema
Cut Copy
Moving Units
VHS or Beta
The Postal Service
Killers
Bravery
Franz Ferdinand
Bloc Party
Motion City Soundtrack

P.S. Here is a good link to find some good songs.

Thanks for the suggestions. Interesting that in 2005 Arcade Fire were considered next wave.

Maybe someone should start a poll "Top 100 Next Wave Songs" to go with our poll "Top 100 New Wave Songs."

One of my rare posts in this forum.

Heard the Burning Hotels on FA recently and have really gotten into them. Don't know how "next wave" they are but anywhoo:

Great song, IMO
