OK... Where Do I Go On From Here?..

Aw Man.. It seems like the past 4-5 years have been a big sucking vacuum for local radio music.
Ever since WLIR 92.7 packed it up and moved it out to eastern LI, It hasn't been the same, especially with Next Wave.
First off, I have to give props and thanx to Blir for that 00's indie CDR with all that great great stuff.
Buuut, I need some input on Club style tunes... you'll know what I mean if you listened to the WLIR 'After Dark' radio segment back in 98-01.
All these great trax by: Angel Moon, Alice DJ, ATB, Cirrus, Cygnus-X, Daft Punk, Dario G, Delerium, Dirty Vegas, Elastic Band, Gigi Gagostino, iiO(ooh gawd..), Modgo, Safri Duo, Spiller, The Love Bite, Wolfsheim.
This stuff DOES NOT GET AIRPLAY ANYWHERE AROUND HERE! (OK Maybe a little on KTU, but I can't deal with all the other stuff)
PLEASE! PLEASE! Anyone!.. Can I get some listening suggestions on what similar sounding stuff is currently out or that has come out since then? (I'm listening....)

Check out "The Shape Of Things To Come" on Sunday nights from 9 to midnight on our station 89.1 WFDU fm. More Goth-leaning but in the same ballpark.

You might like the stuff on <a href="http://www.eurodancehits.com/" target="blank">EuroDanceHits.com</a>

I've been a fan of the site for years. [8D]

if you like Wolfsheim and Delerium, try:
Covenant, United States of Mind, Northern Light
Seabound
Claire Voyant (great female vocals)
Melotron
aw heck, just try metropolis-records.com and play around [:)]

De/Vision and Iris seems to be enormously popular too (although I find them kinda boring). But I think they're worth a shot, since I may the odd one who doesn't like them.

also try:
CTRL, Lose The Image
Amon Tobin

I forgot one: Invisible College. Very beautiful, OMD-ish.

I think I've pushed this site a gazillion times already. The thing is, I don't have their CD. According to their site, their former label is MIA and they're looking for other ways to release their stuff. ARGH! I WANT! I WANT!

FYI: <a href="http://www.clubnetradio.com/" target="blank">This</a> is a pretty decent trance streaming site. [^]

Check out The Echoing Green and Leiahdorus for more great, clubby synthpop, Fischerspooner and Ladytron for danceable electro-clash, and Electric Six and the Scissor Sisters for catchy punk-funk/alternative dance. Rock on!

Hi design_femme, this is Bob Hanley, lead vocals for Invisible College.

Since we are putting IC on the back shelf while we focus on our latest project, vaLVe (http://www.valvemusic.ca), there aren't a whole lot of plans to release anything soon as Invisible College.

We will however be performing live in the Toronto area (as IC) and making quite a number of IC songs available as free downloads in the near future.

Thanks for your kind words and for keeping us in your thoughts.

Peace,
Bob
