The new Against Me lp is excellent.

The new Against Me lp is excellent.

I just picked up the new double lp from Agaist Me-Searching for a former Clarity on Fat records and I highly recommend it.If you like political punk/rock with more emphasis on rock then this is for you. It,s a little like A.F.I,s masterpiece Sing the sorrow only a little rougher.Borneo and Woodland will probably dig this, but they probably already know.

Actually mopar, I haven't heard these guys before. Seen the name, but for some reason I lumped them in with that emo/backpack wearing nonsense. I'll see if I can't locate some of their stuff, thanks for the tip!

Picked up one of their earlier LPs today, the local shop was out of the newest one. The one I got is called "As The Eternal Cowboy". It didn't knock my socks off, but it's pretty damned good & I'll look into their latest if & when I get a chance.

Finally got a copy of this one last week & you're right, it is excellent! I wasn't that crazy about the other stuff I'd heard, but I love this disc. Any of their other ones that I need to know about?

I will not steer you folks wrong. If I listen to something I feel is worthy of giving it a nod I will certainly let you know.I want to be careful though because I buy alot of music and alot of it is sloppy, shitty, lewd punk/rnr and that ain,t everybodys pleasure.

Mopar, you haven't steered me wrong yet, I love my new wave, but I love sloppy punk rock & roll just as much.

OK you punks,I went down in the basement to scan my collection to give a few what I think is good listening suggestions.I will also give the lable they are on so you can check out thier other artists.Check out Gideon Smith and the Dixie Damned-Southern Gentlemen on SmallStone,Skynard meets AC/DC.The lable I used to Fuck people like you in prison from Germany is full of every type of rock you want.I would try The Bones-screwed,Blued and Tattooed and Straight Flush Ghetto pure punk RnR.Also on this lable The Black Halos-Alive without Control great glam punk from Canada(how this band isn,t bigger puzzles me).Sixer-Beautiful Trash on TKO.Try the new Radio Reelers-The Next Big Thing on Dead Beat records if you want just straight ahead RnR.Lastly for now try to find Unida-Coping with the Urban Coyote. It came out in 99 or 2000 but I still get shivers every time I listen to it ,very clean hard rock.If some of you search these out I hope they don,t disappoint.I would also like other suggestions.
