Tegan and Sara

Discussions about the new generations of bands influenced by '80s New Wave and Postpunk

Tegan and Sara

I first thought I was hearing a missing persons song. I looked over at the tv and did not know the band but wrote down the name. I really liked the song. It was called speak slow. So I did some investigating and found some other videos on mtv.com I really like their sound. I even ordered their cd. They have a few but I will give this new one a try first. They totally have an 80's sound.

I got their CD 'So Jealous' (with Speak Slow on it) back in the spring and thought it was quite good. Someone on this board had mentioned their song 'Walking with a Ghost' and it got me to check them out. They definitely have a nice 80's influence in their music. I only have that one CD - - they some earlier ones but I don't know if they are as 80's sounding....
