Stefani Steals Synth Line!

Postby djcraig » Wed Nov 23, 2005 2:40 pm

Listen to Gwen Stefani's "Cool" (Richard X Remix).

Then Heaven 17's "Let Me Go".

Hmmmm.

I thought that synth line sounded familiar.

Thanks. This was a big topic a while back on the main board.

There's another song on the album with Peter Hook and Bernard Sumner on it and it's basically a rewrite of "Bizarre Love Triangle" but...since half of New Order is on the track...I'll let it slide.[8D]

Strangely enough, that song hardly crossed my ears, though it was on the charts, MTV etc.
I'll have a listen to it.

At least Kelly Osbourne (? that's her name right) admitted that she used Fade top Grey for her little hit last summer. A song I actually thought was nicely made.

I also found out Madonna steals a couple of inbetween music-lines on Hung Up, next to her ABBA use of the flutes-bit. I have to hear it again before I can lay my finger on it. (anybody else can HELP me here ?)
