Anybody hear of these guys? My friend at work says he heard they sound like the Libertines meet the Jam.

Good comparison. Throw in a little Gang Of Four too. Actually they sound exactly like We Are Scientists. "Dancefloors" is a great track.

Recommended, the Jam was one of my first impressions as well, from what I've heard they are all under 20 years old and I was reading in Spin that their song was #1 on the UK Charts the first week, no major label or promotional push - no one had done that since the Spice Girls[:p] (Ha Ha)

I'm late to the party on these guys, but the CD is excellent. I just gave it a listen for the first time last night. Kinda remind me of The Strokes meet the Gang Of Four. Highly recommended!

First, late welcome to Michelle!

Second, is anybody catching them on this current tour? I didn't catch them in Austin - I got put off by some of the hype and decided to catch what turned out to be excellent other shows instead. At the same time, I don't want to jump on the "first to be uber-hip and diss the next big thing" bandwagon either. [;)] Although I'm awfully tempted to say I don't hear anything here except reworked Strokes/Franz chords. I'd like to hear from someone who's seen them. Upcoming NA shows...

Toronto - Tonight and Tomorrow!

Boston - 3/23
New York - 3/25

I heard that the band was discovered by the former Vitamin Z singer Geoff Barradale and that he is the actual manager of the band.Is it true?
