Who the hell do Kasabian sound like?!

I freaking digging their 2004 album...don't know how it escaped me this long. But it's driving me nuts trying to figure out who and what they sound like? Anyone care to hazard some descriptions?

I think all the reviews at the time said Stone Roses but not being an expert on Stone Roses I wouldn't know. I liked that disc though, especially Club Foot and cool Manson reference for the band name!

Something about them reminds me of the Happy Mondays. Definitely a 90's Mancunian vibe.

Kasabian is somewhere is between happy Mondays, The Stones Roses and Jamiroquai.. bacause they have a Madchester thing going on but it's more funky. [8D]

Really?! I guess I don't hear any of that, but there must be since you all kinda seem to agree. To me it seems more like Chemical Brothers meet Franz Ferdinand...sorta...but I'm still not satisfied with any of these.

But thanks. [;)]

I FINALLY listened to them, yes they remind me of the Happy Mondays, but it also reminds me of Pop Will Eat Itself, without all the sampling. Also Reminds me of Charlatans UK. But yeah have that Manchester sound.

BTW yes sound excellent
