I've been digging this video BIG time, directed by Joaquin Phoenix. Yeah, that one - from Gladiator. Anyway, I'm watching Dave Letterman and guess who's on? Yup - SHE WANTS REVENGE. We gotta do a get together when these guys pass through New York. This guy's voice is awesome. I'm feeling a little Ian Curtis in it. Anyway, here's the Realplayer file for your audio/video enjoyment. This is one quirky cinematic little gem Joaquin did - WHOA, nice job dude.

I read a very good review about this release in [i]Newsday[/i].
Quote: "She Wants Revenge's eponymous debut could have been the best album of 1983. The atmospherics, the synthesizer romps, the compressed, monotone vocals - it's all a pitch-perfect soundtrack for those simpler, repressed, technology-embracing, nuke-fearing Cold War days."
The reviewer says the songs sound like Ministry, Tears for Fears, Depeche Mode, Romeo Void, and Pete Shelley. Sounds like something worth checking out more closely.
