It's time to play Name That Drum Intro!
Click below and you will hear the intros to 10 new wave songs (after a short theme song by Depeche Mode). All you have to do is identify the songs from which these all-percussion intros came from. Good luck!

Okay, here's an update on what's been correctly answered so far:
#1 is 'Watching The Detectives" by Elvis Costello. Congratulations glokstadt!
#2 is "52 Girls" by The B-52's Nice going, plagiarism and wherewereuin82!
#3 nobody got yet. It could be a tough one.
#4 is NOT "Follow The Leaders" by Killing Joke. No correct guesses yet.
#5 is "Kick In The Eye" by Bauhaus. Another fine job by wherewereuin82.
#6 is NOT "Twist and Crawl" by The English Beat. No correct guesses yet.
#7 is indeed "Shoot You Down" by APB. Wherewereyouin82 does it again.
#8 is NOT a Madness song, no correct answers yet.
#9 is "In My Eyes" by Minor Threat. A tip of the hat to Rotator!
#10 is "African and White" by China Crisis. Wherewereuin82 gets another one.
If nobody correctly guesses #3, #4, #6 or #8 I will give some clues and after that I will reveal the correct answers....

Okay, here are the clues before I identify the third and eighth drum intros:
#3: The name of this band consists of numbers, not letters. The song itself is so obscure that maybe you shouldn't try to guess...it don't pay.
#8: This was the shortest ska song to reach the top of the British charts in the 80's.
