Music To Beat Your Wife To - Cornelius Van Lundt

Pork & Beans with a Side Order of You - The Ed Gein Experience
(It has a kickass Larry Khesky accordian solo)
From the album "Woman Suit Wearing Blues" and also available on the K-Tel compilation "Serial Killer All-Stars 16 Favorite Hits". Chuck Manson's rendition of "Feelings" has to be heard to be believed.

Doesn't Son of Sam do a cover of Joe Jackson's "Happy Loving Couples" on that CD?[;)]

Girls on the Beat.

The Swindon female quartet self-released their first single, "On The Line" (GOTB1) in 1981 which attracted the attention of the UK indie labels.

This was followed up by an appearance of the "We Will Not Wilt" compilation of Wilshire bands."Stranger To Run" would of been the stand-out track if not for the appearance of thrash-punk band "What You Looking At?" with their song "Slags of Society". This was the toned-down version of the original, which according to the people at the recording session made "So What" by the Anti-Nowhere League sound like something which would be used by Disney.

GOTB, fronted by singer-songwriter Susan Redman, signed for major indie label Sounds Aloud. "On The Line" was re-released as the b-side to their most famous track "Haunted" which received major airplay on Radio 1. An appearance on TOTP beckoned to cement their staus but unfortunaely due to a technician's strike the show was cancelled.

The band never recovered from this setback and split up shortly afterwards. A few years later Susan Redman returned to national prominence when she was embroiled in the DeLorean/Arthur Anderson scandal. Her career in tatters, she disappeared and hasn't been heard of since.
