Hey Guys,

I got bored the other night and decided to set up a YouTube audio channel to showcase a lot of the stuff I've posted here in the past as shares, and then some. This could be a great way to discover some bands you may have never heard of. Here is the blurb from my "about" section of the page, in case anyone's interested. All have been encoded in high quality for the best listening experience, at least that YouTube offers. More will be added over time:

Rubellan Remasters is a place for music lovers of late 70's and early 80's New Wave and Post Punk to hear long lost classics that have either never been released on CD or are long out of print. Not only am I a fan of this music, I have also done professional sound engineering/remastering for labels such as Cherry Red and Music Club/Edsel, and have made reputation in collector's circles for providing the best vinyl remasters around. At Rubellan Remasters, I don't just transfer a piece of rare vinyl to a computer, I spend hours fully restoring and enhancing the material. I manually and meticulously remove all surface noise, avoiding the pitfalls of automated noise reduction processes which can damage delicate parts of the music. Careful re-equalizing is applied to bring out sounds hidden deep in the vinyl grooves to provide a brand new listening experience. And last, none of my remastered songs are brickwalled with over-compression methods. You just get clear, full dynamic range. Enjoy!

Thanks for sharing! I still consider you the best in the business when it comes to vinyl transfers/mastering. Always looking forward to more of your work. :D

Thanks for always being so supportive of this little hobby/obsession of mine. If record companies actually cared about sound quality I would have a new career.

Your rips/remasterings are top notch. Today I was listening to your masterpiece on Berlin Blondes. That MUST be used for a re-issue CD. Removing the surface noise without damaging the subtle sound of the music is a true art!

Exactly! I think that the first vinyl transfer that I ever downloaded by Scott was "The First Picture of You [12" Version]" by Lotus Eaters. I remember thinking that Scott was not telling the truth about it coming from vinyl because I could hear no rumble, hiss, or clicks whatsoever. Honestly, I did not think that it was possible to sound this amazing from vinyl. Many "professional" vinyl transfers still show the evidence of being from vinyl, most evident while listening on headphones. However, with Scott's transfers, I cannot even hear this evidence on headphones. Let's not forget, too, that he does a brilliant job with the actual equalization and mastering, too. He gives the tracks the right amount of loudness while maintaining the dynamic range and integrity of the original recording. A true talent.

Indeed! You're more than welcome. You really should have a career doing this full-time. Seriously, I don't mean to sound like a broken record or having an obsession with you, but you are really that good. As a huge fan of music and audio quality, I am really picky about these things. I think that I tend to have a greater appreciation for stuff like this. :D

If I am not wrong, he's done some great remastering including The Mood and Mobiles re-issue CD.

Nice channel, I remember you had a channel for rare music videos way back in 2006 or so when youtube was still new. I discovered lots of 80s bands thanks to your uploads, any chance to revive it?

Fiat Lux remastered by him would be just amazing and the closest thing we'd get to an official CD reissue.
