hello all:

i've spent the last year or so going thru my collection of about
5000 12"s and slowly burning my rare 80's vinyl to my hard drive...

I call the series Danceteria, and I have 4 "volumes" so far,
with the intention of having a 10 CD set...

some of them have made it to cd in the past few years,
and i'm slowly weeding them out so what remains are "vinyl only releases"

Oh my god Dave, this looks like a gold mine...and we're only scratching the surface (5000 12 inchers?!!!). This is definately not the run-of-the-mill "flashback 80s" stuff (like some of my collection). I'd love to see any collaboration between you and M

Are you the same datafreq that posts over at Atariage from time to time?

You have one heck of a collection there. 5000 records!!!???!!! I don't have nearly as much.

alot of people emailed me regarding my post and i must admit i was taken back by all the nice words...
i will definitely get cracking on going thru all me 12"s and start burning...
