Seeking Music... (kinda general)

Discuss hard-to-find or out-of-print New Wave and '80s Alternative, and share a few songs along the way.
NOTE: requesting songs that are entirely unrelated to the genres discussed here or easily found on CD is strongly discouraged and posts will be enforced as needed.

Seeking Music... (kinda general)

Mainly in Mp3 format, preferable on CD-R. (the reason being is that I have a slow internet, except when I am at school).

Heres what I am looking for...

Cheap-sounding AND Cool-sounding late 80s/early 90s pop/techno/R&B (see my other topic in General Discussion)

Rare New Wave (what a surprise)

I am not asking for entire albums, but for songs to give an idea of what other people like and what else is cool. Entire albums are a plus if it isnt readily available from some place like Gemm at a reasonable price.

Synthpop (not top 40)

Art Rock

If someones interested, please email me. I will then send you a list of my CDs and MP3s. Bear in mind, that I dont have an MP3 encoder, just a high-speed CD Burner.

Kajafan86@playful.com

NOTE: If you catch me at school, then I can trade them over high speed interent. I will have to use a messenger service to the administration doesnt get on to me. (we got rules that say you cant have access to the internet from a laptop from home, but it only takes 15-20 minutes to bypass the schools firewall).

NOTE: I also have a wantlist..if someones interested in particulars, let me know.

Geez, I sound like a music thief. I need advice on what to get from the record stores. I like to have ususally about 2-3 MP3s from an album to allow me to judge what the rest sounds like before paying the $15 - $25 + $6 shipping for a record. that is all.

For chrissakes don't apologize or feel you have to explain yourself Frayo. The RIAA has a cynical and sinister, an almost Ashcroftian way, of making all music consumers feel like criminals. A fine way to ingratiate their customers. Music lovers will share

Yeah, it's about the only business you can think of that people have to pay for the privilege of giving them free advertising. Must be nice.
