Cosmetics were Richard Mazda's band after Tours and before he went solo. I think it's his finest moment. The Tours stuff has been compiled and I believe can be purchased digitally, so I've opted not to include that stuff. Instead, you get three singles from Cosmetics, including the wonderful "Closures"

On the strength of that single, the band were signed to IRS where they released my favorite of their tracks "The Crack"

It must've been one of Richard Mazda's favorites too, because he covered the track and made it the closing number on his solo LP "Hands Of Fate" renaming it "The Crack For '84" While I don't love his solo album as much as the Cosmetics stuff, it's got it's moments. I've included it in the collection.
