This is an album I'm really excited about. In 1981 Lelo & The Levants put out a wonderful album (which you can grab here at Fade2Grey http://www.fade2grey.com/albums/lelo/) and ever since I discovered it I've been on the hunt for more Lelo, but sadly there wasn't any. Until now! The three core members of Lelo & The Levants, Lelo (aka Aurellio Danino), Oswin Falquero and Charlie Chiappe reunited for this amazing new wave album in 1984, renaming themselves 39 Spies. They're joined by Chris Gregory on bass and Pete Fenton (from Siouxie & The Banshees?) on keyboards. Only released in Spain, Doomandance spawned two singles, "Please Don't Go Away" and "Where Do We Go Now?" Here's the extended remix of the latter...

All songs were written by Lelo Danino and Oswin Flaquero except Machine Music and Is It Love which were written by Danino, Falquero and Charlie Chiappe. The album was produced by Danino and Falquero and released in 1984 on CFE records. It is a CHA CHA production.
