These guys fairly new to me. If you've been following Brian McCloskey's Smash Hits archive (https://www.flickr.com/photos/51106326@N00/collections/72157622124067234) or Shane Marias' No. 1 archive (http://www.shanemarais.net/no-1-magazine) you might've noticed live reviews and interviews with Smalltown Elephants. They were a UK 3 piece band who released one single and opened up for A-Ha on their 1986-1987 tour. Smalltown Elephants were Andy Fitzgerald, Paul Turley and Steve Askew (of Kajagoogoo) What I'm sharing here is their UNRELEASED album which was recorded in 1986, and scheduled, then pulled for release in 1987. I've also added the b-sides and remixes from their one single "Walking On Ice"

Great find!

Any band with Steve Askew in it should be an interesting listen.... :)
