This would be for the most part a rather obscure synth-pop / funk, generally electronic sounding Dutch band, if it werent for their huge chart / club hit "Precious Little Diamond" from 1984.

That song has been hauting me for quite a while.
Couldnt really tell if it was simply a guilty pleasure or something truly worthwhile.

However, nowadays I do believe its a truly deserving classic of its time.
It is the standout track on this album, but however, the other singles and the rest of the material aint bad at all. On the contrary.

This has been released on CD way back in 1984, but in the Netherlands only.
According to discogs, a few people do have it, but its practically impossible to buy right now on this format.

If someone feels I shouldnt have uploaded this, I will take it down right away.

Enjoy! :)

The Weeknd agrees with your rating as a classic, I assume... at least as far as "Precious Little Diamond" is concerned.

(This was sampled in Wanderlust - which I had heard, but had never heard this original - surreal to hear it, and LOVE the original, now).
