it's what he does that's the reason and he's not alone. I've got hundreds of files up but i won't post them here because people copy links to other places. There are so many people who won't upload their own links but instead steal others to make it look like they are doing some work particularly so that they can maintain the illusion that they contribute so that people will keep answering their requests it's ridiculous.

right, eddie, i also hate "link copiers"

upload anything to a public forum or blog and sadly you can be sure that someone is copying it to a shoutbox, chatbox, blog or forum or worse still up to youtube and you can do nothing about it. They even re-up to the filehosts that pay per click etc so that they can profit from your hard work and generosity. That's the reasons why all the best blogs and forums are private now. People you can trust who appreciate what you do and it secures your files. I'm continually transferring audience and fm masters and first generation cassette, some i upload some i don't and they don't get massive numbers of downloads when i do because i'm selective about who i share them with.
